Jesus's Way - Boží Dar
Jesus' Way is a popular educational and entertainment trail in the vicinity of the town of Boží Dar in the Ore Mountains. It is ideal for families with children who want to enjoy a walk in nature combined with playful tasks. Basic information: Year-round - on foot, on bike and in winter on cross-country skis Duration: 1.5 to 4 hours depending on the chosen route What to expect on the route: Thirteen stops with wooden houses are located along the trail. At each of them, children complete fun tasks which they write in Santa's notebook. The trail is complete with game elements, wooden figures and benches to rest on. Everything is designed so that children learn new knowledge about nature, Christmas customs and life in the mountains through play. How to do it. Children who complete the route and complete the tasks correctly can collect a small reward. Božídarské peatlands
A visit to a mountain village with a unique nature reserve and a Jesus trail for children. Wooden paths will take you through the peat bog with interpretation about the rare flora and fauna, accessible even with a stroller. The Boží Dar Peat Bog is a large alpine peat bog located in the Ore Mountains near the town of Boží Dar. It is one of the most important peat bogs in the Czech Republic and a protected nature reserve. The peat bog was formed as a result of long-term accumulation of peat on water-saturated soil, which resulted from the cold and wet climate of the high mountain environment. It is home to many rare and endangered species of plants and animals, such as various species of peat mosses, dry-loving mosses, orchids and birds. There is a nature trail for visitors, which leads directly across the peat bog via wooden walkways to avoid damage to the sensitive ecosystem. The trail is about 3.5 km long and allows you to get to know the specific flora and fauna of this unique natural environment. The peat bog is accessible all year round, but due to the nature of the terrain, suitable footwear and clothing adapted to the weather are recommended. In winter, the area is also popular for cross-country skiing. A visit to the Božídara peat bog offers a unique experience of exploring nature and the opportunity to see unique natural phenomena typical of mountain areas.
God's View
Boží vyhlídka is a modern observation tower located about 600 metres from the centre of Boží Dar in the Neklid area, near the upper station of the ski lift. It offers beautiful panoramic views of the surrounding Ore Mountains ridges and inland.
Blatná Water Moat
Blatenský vodní ditch - educational trail and technical monument The Blatenský vodní ditch is a remarkable technical work from the Renaissance period, built in 1540-1544. It was used to bring water from the Božídar peat bog area to the mining facilities in the vicinity of Horní Blatná. The water was used to power machines, ore processing plants and also for washing tailings. Length: approx. 11.5 km Start: west of Boží Dar End: near Horní Blatná Surface: natural paths, partly on forest trails Accessibility: all year round (in winter it can also be used on cross-country skis) Difficulty: easy trail suitable for families with children Trail highlights. The trail is supplemented by more than 20 information panels that explain the history of mining, the functioning of the water system and the natural conditions of the area. Various well-preserved technical features such as sluices, spillways and stone aqueducts can be seen along the trail. Practical information. The Blatná moat is part of the UNESCO-recognised Mining Cultural Landscape and offers an easy but engaging trip combining nature and the history of the Ore Mountains.

Klínovec Lookout Tower
The observation tower is located at the summit of Klínovec (1,244 m above sea level), which is the highest mountain in the Czech part of the Ore Mountains. The stone octagonal tower was originally built in 1884 and named after Emperor Franz Joseph I. After years of disrepair, it was completely renovated and reopened in 2013. Basic information: Tower height: 17 metres Number of steps: 77 Viewing platform: with panoramic views in all directions View: With good visibility, it is possible to see the Ore Mountains on both the Czech and German sides, Děčínský Sněžník, the Bohemian Central Highlands, the Doupov Mountains, Slavkovský les, Šumava, or even the Alps. Access: On foot from Boží Dar (approx. 4 km) via the red tourist trail or from Jáchymov via the green trail. Option to take a cable car from Jáchymov or Loučná pod Klínovcem. By car directly to the summit, parking available at the tower (toll applies in winter). Novako Ski Resort
The Novako Ski Resort is located right in the centre of Boží Dar, at an altitude of 1,024 m. It is ideal for families with children, complete beginners, seniors and school groups. Thanks to the clear and safe terrain, visitors learn to ski here in a calm and friendly environment.
